Textiles and Fiber Art Camp

Class Description

Textiles and Fiber Arts is a creative art form that uses natural and synthetic fibers such as yarn, thread, and fabric. Students will explore a variety of techniques including weaving, knitting, embroidery, knotting, and simple textile construction. These methods can be used to create both functional items and expressive art pieces, such as wall hangings, soft sculptures, or wearable designs. In this class, the focus will be on creativity, experimentation, and self-expression. Participants will learn basic fiber art techniques through hands-on projects and use color, texture, and pattern to design and create their own handcrafted textile artworks. All materials will be provided. Bring a friend/ sibling and get $10 off on both tuition.
