Class Description
Open Sewing Studio Bring a project. Make some progress. Enjoy the process. 2 hours | $35 | All skill levels Bring your unfinished projects, alterations, hems, garments, patterns, or sewing experiments and spend some dedicated time getting them done—with guidance when you need it. Have a sewing project sitting unfinished at home? Need to hem a pair of pants, make a simple alteration, finish a garment, or finally get started on that project you’ve been putting off? Open Sewing Studio is a relaxed, flexible studio time where you can bring your own sewing projects and work on them at your own pace, with guidance and support from AARK STUDIO. Whether you’re looking to finish a garment, fix a hem, make an alteration, practice a technique, or simply enjoy some dedicated time at the sewing machine, you’re welcome to bring your project and make use of the studio environment. How It Works Pay per class/session — no long-term commitment required. Bring your own project, fabric, patterns, notions, and supplies. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer working on your personal machine. AARK STUDIO will provide guidance, suggestions, and assistance with project completion. This is not a formal sewing class with a set curriculum. Instruction is based on the project you bring and the help you need. Projects may vary greatly in complexity, so please come prepared to work independently as much as possible. A Little Sewing Wisdom Projects take time, patience, and practice! Some projects may be completed in one session, while others may take several studio visits. We encourage you to enjoy the process rather than rush to the finish line. Our goal is to help you understand your project, work through challenges, and build confidence along the way. Please Bring Your project, pattern (if applicable), fabric, thread, notions, closures, trims, and any other materials needed to complete your project. If you have a specific sewing machine, tools, or presser feet you prefer to use, feel free to bring those as well. Come with a project. Leave with progress! Open Sewing Studio is a great option for anyone who enjoys sewing but would love a dedicated space, a little guidance, and some creative company along the way. Bring your project. Cancellation Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for participant cancellations. All booking fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please contact us in advance to reschedule or transfer your payment to another class, camp, or workshop, subject to availability. A minimum of 3 participants is required for a class or workshop to be held. A class may be cancelled if the minimum enrollment is not met. If AARK Studio cancels a class due to low enrollment, you will be contacted and given the option to: Transfer your payment to another class or workshop Reschedule for a future date Receive a credit toward a future class Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a small business.
