KINUSAIGA-The Art of Fabric & Form Turn fabric scraps into art—without a single stitch! Discover Kinusaiga, a beautiful Japanese textile art technique that transforms small pieces of fabric into intricate, textured artwork. In this relaxing, hands-on workshop, you’ll explore color, pattern and texture as you create your own fabric artwork using a prepared design. Learn how to cut, layer, and carefully tuck fabric into the grooves of a foam board to create a unique piece of textile art. No sewing or previous art experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity—and, if you have them, a few favorite fabric scraps you'd love to give new life. YOU'LL LEARN • The story and inspiration behind Kinusaiga • How to work with color, pattern, and texture • Basic fabric cutting and tucking techniques • How to create dimension and visual interest with fabric YOU'LL CREATE Your very own Kinusaiga artwork to take home and display. All materials and tools provided. 2½ hours | Ages 15+ | Beginner-friendly | $60 Bring Your Own Fabric: Have a meaningful fabric scrap tucked away? Bring a few small pieces from an old garment, a favorite sewing project, or a treasured fabric collection and incorporate them into your artwork. A selection of studio fabrics will also be available. Light refreshments will be served. Bring a friend and get $5 off for both tickets

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for participant cancellations. All booking fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please contact us in advance to reschedule or transfer your payment to another class, camp, or workshop, subject to availability. A minimum of 3 participants is required for a class or workshop to be held. A class may be cancelled if the minimum enrollment is not met. If AARK Studio cancels a class due to low enrollment, you will be contacted and given the option to: Transfer your payment to another class or workshop Reschedule for a future date Receive a credit toward a future class Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a small business.
